| ROCKLANE
RIDING CENTRE is a small but friendly riding school situated amongst
pleasant countryside near Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable and Aylesbury. We
are a family run business and take a personal interest in clients'
progress with their riding. FACILITIES: A new indoor school, outdoor
arena (20m by 60m) and jumping paddock give riders a good choice of
where to ride, depending on the weather and their own ability. LESSONS:
These are fairly priced and well run. Our instructors are keen to see
riders make progress, but are sympathetic towards nervous riders and
beginners of any age. We recommend that people ride once a week minimum
since it is hard to make good progress on a more sporadic basis, but we
are quite happy to book people in now and again as it suits them.
SAFETY: Riding is a "risk" sport and we therefore take great care to avoid accidents. We are inspected annually by the local authority and follow their guidelines on safety. Nevertheless, clients should realise that it is normal to fall off and in the great majority of cases no one gets hurt. Hacking - we regret we do not offer this since we consider it to be too dangerous on today's roads, but experienced riders are taken round our fields when weather is good. |
